Last Day of School! Yeah?

Today is the last day of school and at the awards ceremony at school, Speed Racer received a Citizenship award. Sorry the lighting was not the best.


Also, it was water day! Speed's class and others went to the park and had water games, pizza etc... and the sixth graders got to go to Sun Splash. (water park) After all it is the end of May in the desert - right.

This was the weather yestarday. HOT & SUNNY









Today it was, GREY! overcast and a bit rainy! Perfect day for water games? Oh, well. They had a great time anyway.

Here is our lovely table. Grandma & Papa came over, also Grandma Litchfield, Uncle Matt & Aunt Jamie. (with kids) We had a yummy meal planned by the brothers and Girly decorated us a cake all by herself.

Girls night out at Grandma L's

While Loving Hubby and Speed Racer were away camping, Girly, Wee One and I went to Grandma's house. We went to dinner at the girl's favoriteplace (Pei Wei). We walked around the stores and spent a lot of time in Barnes and Noble. Our family is a sucker for this place. We could literally spend all day in there. Then we went back to the house, had dessert and went to bed. Saturday we played with Grandma somemore and later when LH and Speed got home we went and saw Ironman (minus Grandma and Wee One). It was a pretty great weekend. Time spent with Grandma is always a HUGE treat.
