Kidism's

Two sundays ago Mina asked me after church. "Mom did Onward die?" "Who's Onward honey?" I reply. "You know, (as she starts singing) onward, ever onward, did he die?" It was all I could do not to laugh in her face as I told her that no, onward isn't a person and he didn't die. She still wanted to know what happened to him. At that point I just said "nothing happened to him" and walk out of the room so that I could laugh out loud and go tell Jason.

Jason went to help a friend move something. Kali asked me where he was, so I told her. Her reply was "oh good, maybe they can hang out every tuesday and go bowling or something".
Awsome! Why she thinks tuesday's would be good to hang out is beyond me.

9*11*2010 (9th Anniversary)

This is the Healing Field set up at Tempe Beach Park.
(Flags from Colonial Flag in Sandy UT. - Go Bill and Terri)
(The yellow flags represented the 1st responders that died. These flags were on the outside edges of the display surrounding the others in the middle. Quite fitting I think.)

Mina planted her own flag, and was quite proud to show me.

Here they all are.
There were tags on each flag with a persons name, age, location (WTC or flight #) and a little about who they were. It is very well done.
Pace and Colton in the front of the fire truck that was there.

8*28*2010 D.C.

Just a few shots from D.C.. It was an amazing weekend, I only wish we had had more time.
