This morning Speed used one of his dollars so he could buy lunch at school today. Girly wanted to do the same but since she can't save money for the life of her she had none to use. She was SOOOO upset. No amount of explaining that Speed has money because he saves what he earns and she spends as soon as she gets it would calm her down. After a melt down in the kitchen and refusing to make a lunch - vowing to just not eat; the sweetest thing happened. Instead of gloating and mocking because he gets to buy lunch and she doesn't, Speed went quietly into his room and emerged with a dollar for Girly to buy lunch too. (I of course had to make up the difference, it was too sweet.) She grabbed him and sobbed "thank you, thank you, thank you!" Just when you think know what will happen... I am so greatful for a loving son.
