FUN night out.

So last night we came across a little unexpected money (love it when that happens) and decided for the first time in a long time not to put all of it toward bills, etc. Instead we took the kids to Amazing Jake's. We haven't been there in forever. We took our time and enjoyed everything the buffet had to offer. After watching part of The Jungle Book in the movie room while eating, we headed out to play. We played kiddie games & won tickets. Oh and by the way here's the interesting part. JP and Speed were playing the basketball game and there was a little boy next to them trying to do the same. He couldn't quite get it to work and asked JP for help. Of course he kindly helped and the man JP assumed was his father said "hey thanks man". JP's reply was "no problem", and away he went. With in seconds of this exchange I told JP "didn't you see who that was"? JP "no" Me " it's Shaquille O'Neil". Nash was also spotted. Prior to us arriving Amazing Jake's had been closed to the public for a private party. We wondered who might have the funds to do such a thing. After seeing who we saw we made an assumption. We could be totally wrong, but that's life I guess. We had a great family night out.

Breakfast fun.

Omelets in a bag.

Okay, I do not take credit for this idea. My mom got it from someone she knows and shared it with me. So easy, so fun, so fast. My kids love it when I let them do this so we did it this morning.

1.) get eggs and add ins ready.
2.) put them in zip lock baggies and let little hands smoosh and smoosh and smoosh.
3.) drop (carfully) into boiling water and boil about 3-5 mins. check to make sure they are cooked through.
4.) open baggie (carefully - there is steam in side) and poor out onto plate.

Ta da. So yummuy made to taste.

Hair we go again.

Yep, Wee One did it again. Not quite so bad this time but, I'm still not very happy about it.

Left over fun.

After my activity day girls went home the left over project material was still on the table when my sweet children walked in the room. So! Mom! can we do it too? Sure why not, go to town. And they did and loved every minute of it.

PAPA!.

So Papa stopped by the other night andafter about 20 mins. he was ready to be done and have a rest. If you were him don't you think you would do the same?
Here's what happened.

Be the horse Papa.
Lift me up Papa.My turn,
No; my turn!

Do the horse again - PLEEEEEEEASE!

They all had a great time and love when Papa stops by.

Winningest Attitude Award

Well today Girly won the Winningest Attitude Award in her class. She was so happy to receive it and get her picture taken. These really are the days to enjoy. Congrats to all the other parents in the ward I saw at school today.

FOCA

As I have gotten older and more learned. Times have become less and less innocent. I have felt strongly about issues and yet kept my mouth shut and prayed they would somehow get fixed. I find myself less able to sit idly by on issues I feel strongly about. Please gain knowledge (if you haven't yet) on the issues being presented in Washington D.C. and your local communities. One in Wash. right now is FOCA. Freedom Of Choice Act. Go to the link for more info. here. Please see here for more and see the petition. Find out what you can, where you can and DO what you feel is right. I feel no restrictions on abortions and terminations of fetuses (children) after live term births is not in our best interest. If you don't feel the same way I hold no ill will toward you. In return I expect none from you.

Okay, I am now off my soap box.
