Feeding the Reindeer

Ya, we left hay for the reindeer and had to have picts.

Favorite picture of the night, I think. How awesome.

Rick and Lori's C. Eve

Played lots of fun games and won fun prizes.
Stick the bow on the tree, Mina missed a few,
but they ended up on her face.
Toss the ring on the tree,
or Soni.
Everett just got carried away in the moment.

Merry Pre-Christmas

Awwwww, sisters. So sweet.

Christmas eve.

Marty Elf

Not the happiest camper, but so cute! Jason wants to go back and get him the matching hat.

Visiting Baseline Santa

And his 80 foot snowman with an actual smoking pipe. Awesome!
Still the only Santa Pace will go near.

Mina was so excited to see Santa, untill it was her turn, then -boom! Shy, go figure.

101 Foundations

I'm a little sad, Pace has taught Mina that the movie is not 101 Foundations, but 101 Dalmatians. I was letting her have that one as long as she wanted it, because it was so cute and she's my last one to say things like that. Oh well, life goes on.

So, I need to make more time for memories. I have been quite busy completing my first real semester of school since, well a long time. "BREATH" for a few weeks! MERRY CHRISTMAS to all!

Hesitation,

So Saturday morning the kids, uncle Eldon and I are out yard saleing and a car passes us. The car was covered in dew (it actually got cool enough overnight for this to occur) and sweet Kali says, "Look mom that car has hesitation on it." I love kid speak. I kindly let her know that it wasn't hesitaion, but condencation that was on the car. Great day.

Kidism's

Two sundays ago Mina asked me after church. "Mom did Onward die?" "Who's Onward honey?" I reply. "You know, (as she starts singing) onward, ever onward, did he die?" It was all I could do not to laugh in her face as I told her that no, onward isn't a person and he didn't die. She still wanted to know what happened to him. At that point I just said "nothing happened to him" and walk out of the room so that I could laugh out loud and go tell Jason.

Jason went to help a friend move something. Kali asked me where he was, so I told her. Her reply was "oh good, maybe they can hang out every tuesday and go bowling or something".
Awsome! Why she thinks tuesday's would be good to hang out is beyond me.

9*11*2010 (9th Anniversary)

This is the Healing Field set up at Tempe Beach Park.
(Flags from Colonial Flag in Sandy UT. - Go Bill and Terri)
(The yellow flags represented the 1st responders that died. These flags were on the outside edges of the display surrounding the others in the middle. Quite fitting I think.)

Mina planted her own flag, and was quite proud to show me.

Here they all are.
There were tags on each flag with a persons name, age, location (WTC or flight #) and a little about who they were. It is very well done.
Pace and Colton in the front of the fire truck that was there.

8*28*2010 D.C.

Just a few shots from D.C.. It was an amazing weekend, I only wish we had had more time.
Lincoln Monument
Inside the Washington Monument, waiting to go up top.

What an amazing sunset!

Jason found his uncle on the Veitnam War Wall.

Yes, we were close enough to get this good a picture of
Sarah Palin

Me and Ryan, thanks so much.

Washington Monument about 6:30am

The crowd started EARLY.

Where does the time go?

Playing with the tortes at Soni's birthday bash.

Papa's Birthday

Papa is blessed to share his birthday with pioneer day. (It makes it easy to remember) Here is his birthday cake this year. I got a new icing tip specifically for grass and hair. I can't wait to use it again. The gun show tickets are an inside joke, for those to whom they make no sense.

~Cake~

Kali wanted to make Grammy and Papa a cake. She saw a picture of what she liked and she did it. She is getting pretty good in the baking arena. I hope she keeps it up.

Eden

The grounds at Temple Square. So beautiful. Mina kept chasing butterflies and looking at everything. She really appreciates nature.

Basketti Dinner

Uncle Bill made dinner So Fun. When you have to
wear plastic bags to eat you know it's going to be good.

SUMMER

This is my favorite picture of the summer. To me it is summer.

Living Planet Aquarium

It's tradition with us to go to the aquarium with cousin Elinor every summer when we go to Utah. This year they added penguins.

Bingham Copper Mine - Utah

As many times as we have been to Utah, we never made it up to the mine (even though it is only 20 min from my sisters place). This year we did it. It was fun, interesting and very informative. On our way out I let the kids choose a couple rocks from the parking lot. They were shiny, sparkly and colorful. All and all glad we did it.

On our way back there were wild flowers everywhere, I couldn't resist!
