Coolest school carnival EVER!

So we (me and the kids)went to their school carnival. I must say it was the best I've been to. There were games, bouncy rides, rock climbing, food (Outback stake house), junk food, a live D.J. (who did a fabulous job-my kind of music) and amazing shows.

Saturday with my Mommy.

I got to go with my mom to the amazing show Cavalia that is here in Scottsdale. It was created by the creators of Cirque Du Soleil. They bring this HUGE white tent that is unbelievable.

The horses were amazing the cast was amazing and the company was amazing. All and all a Fabulous time had. After the show mom and I picked up JP and the kiddies and went to My Big Fat Greek Restaurant. It was also fabulous.

Looking around, my life has been full of some pretty Fabulous moments as of late!

Helping the neighbors?

This past week we had clean sweep on our street. To take advantage of it I cleaned out my garage and other neighbors like the Wright's cut down trees. {I have to send a HUGE shout out to the Wright's for letting my kids play at your house and "help" you guys. They sure love you.}

They hauled fallen grapefruit to the dumpsters with Tommy, and loved every minute of it.

Presidents day.

We went to Barnes and Noble (one of our favorite places) on Presidents day sort of on a whim. When we got there we discovered they were celebrating Presidents day too; kid style. Yeah us!

There was patriot hat making. Girly looks stylin' in hers.

There was face painting,

puzzles, booths about Ben Franklin, etc... It was great fun and we spent way more time there than planed.

Wee One of course spent her time here. It's the firts thing she says when we walk into this place, "I want the train mommy". Good thing Grandma L. was with us.

Happy Valentines Day.

We spent Saturday February 14th, 2009 in Tucson, AZ with Speed and Wee One and the rock and gem show. It was a huge amazing event. We saw some unreal things. There was a good sized kids area where they learned about the earth, minerals, volcano's, etc... lots of hands on kinds of things and of course LOTS of free rocks and "gems" to collect and take home, thus the egg carten.

Speed really did have a good time, it just doesn't look like it here.

The kids were also happy because they got to have McDonald's for breakfast on the way down. This NEVER happens.

FUN night out.

So last night we came across a little unexpected money (love it when that happens) and decided for the first time in a long time not to put all of it toward bills, etc. Instead we took the kids to Amazing Jake's. We haven't been there in forever. We took our time and enjoyed everything the buffet had to offer. After watching part of The Jungle Book in the movie room while eating, we headed out to play. We played kiddie games & won tickets. Oh and by the way here's the interesting part. JP and Speed were playing the basketball game and there was a little boy next to them trying to do the same. He couldn't quite get it to work and asked JP for help. Of course he kindly helped and the man JP assumed was his father said "hey thanks man". JP's reply was "no problem", and away he went. With in seconds of this exchange I told JP "didn't you see who that was"? JP "no" Me " it's Shaquille O'Neil". Nash was also spotted. Prior to us arriving Amazing Jake's had been closed to the public for a private party. We wondered who might have the funds to do such a thing. After seeing who we saw we made an assumption. We could be totally wrong, but that's life I guess. We had a great family night out.
